July seems to have slipped away really fast and I have been very busy discussing exciting further plans for the 'Conspiracy 365' series - plans that I know will please the readers of this thrilling saga! There also could be a television adaptation of the series in the pipeline - but more of that later in the year.

Apart from that, I have been hard at work planning and story-lining the new Gemma Lincoln PI novel "Death By Beauty" I've actually started writing it this month, and I'm already moving towards having completed the first third of the novel. To first draft, at least. By the end of the first third, I always hope that I've set up everything I need for the rest of the story - characters and the seeds of plotlines that will grow and flourish to tantalise and create intrigue and suspense.

Earlier in the month, I attended the New South Wales Writers' Centre Festival of Young Adult Literature where I had the chance to explain more of the story behind the story of Conspiracy 365 and meet up briefly with other writers who also love writing for YAs.

This week, I have a Forensic Society meeting devoted to the topic of questioned documents and this should be really interesting.

Next month on the 17th of August, I'll be talking at the Lane Cove Library from 6 p.m. so please feel free to come along. I'd love to meet you. On the 25th of August, I'll be travelling to the Central Coast to talk to readers up that way.
